Access Holdings Board Approves H1 2026 Audited Financial Statements
The Board of Directors of Access Holdings Plc has approved the group’s audited interim consolidated and separate financial statements for the half-year ended June 30, 2026, clearing another key stage in the company’s financial reporting process.
The approval was given at a board meeting held on August 27, 2026, according to a statement issued by the financial services group.
The financial statements will now proceed through the required regulatory process, including review and approval by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), before they are released to the investing public.
“The financial statements were considered and approved by the Board at its meeting held on 27 August 2026 and will now proceed through the required regulatory process, including approval by the Central Bank of Nigeria,” the company said.
CBN Approval Next
The board’s approval marks the completion of an important internal stage in Access Holdings’ mid-year financial reporting process.
Following regulatory clearance from the CBN, the group said it will publish the audited financial statements through the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and make them available to shareholders, investors and other stakeholders through its established communication channels.
“Following receipt of the CBN’s approval, Access Holdings will publish the audited financial statements through the Nigerian Exchange Limited and make them available to shareholders, investors and other stakeholders through the Group’s established communication channels.”
The process is expected to provide investors with a detailed picture of the group’s financial performance during the first half of 2026 across its various operations.
Access Holdings Reaffirms Governance Commitment
Access Holdings said the financial reporting process reflects its commitment to regulatory compliance, transparency and strong corporate governance.
The group, which operates across Africa and international markets, said these principles remain central to its efforts to build a more connected and resilient financial services business.
“The process reflects Access Holdings’ commitment to strong governance, regulatory compliance and transparent engagement with its stakeholders as it continues to build a more connected and resilient financial services group serving Africa and its international markets.”
Share Trading Remains Restricted
Access Holdings also confirmed that restrictions on share trading by directors, insiders and their connected persons remain in place during the company’s closed period.
In line with the NGX Issuers’ Rules, the company said it will remain in a closed period until 24 hours after the audited financial statements are released to the public.
“During this period, directors, insiders and their connected persons are prohibited from dealing, directly or indirectly, in the securities of Access Holdings Plc.”
The restriction is intended to prevent insiders from trading while they may have access to material, price-sensitive information that has not yet been released to the broader market.
Investors Await H1 Results
With the board approval completed, attention now shifts to the regulatory review and eventual public release of Access Holdings’ H1 2026 audited financial statements.
The results will be closely watched by shareholders, analysts and other market participants seeking insight into the group’s earnings, asset quality, capital position and performance across its banking and financial-services operations.
For a major listed financial institution, the regulatory approval process is an important part of ensuring that financial disclosures meet applicable reporting and supervisory requirements before they reach the public market.
