Leadway Assurance has been unveiled as the Official Insurance Partner of the upcoming Lagos International Trade Fair 2025, according to a statement released on Monday.

The annual trade fair, organised by the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), is scheduled to take place in November and is regarded as West Africa’s premier commercial exhibition. Held in Lagos — Nigeria’s economic nerve centre — the 10-day event attracts over 1,600 local and international businesses each year, making it one of the largest trade shows in sub-Saharan Africa.

Strategic Partnership for Enterprise Growth

Speaking on the new partnership, Kike Fischer, Director of Sales, Retail and Partnerships at Leadway Assurance, said the collaboration underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting enterprise development in Nigeria.

“Partnering as the Official Insurer of the Lagos International Trade Fair speaks to both our leadership in the insurance industry and our deep belief in the power of enterprise,” Fischer said.

“This partnership is not just about visibility; it’s about value. It reflects our commitment to creating a supportive environment where MSMEs can thrive with confidence.”

She added that Leadway is eager to engage with stakeholders across industries during the trade fair, as part of its broader mission to strengthen Nigeria’s business ecosystem.

Driving Insurance Awareness and Financial Protection

The partnership is part of Leadway’s broader push to reshape public perception around insurance. The company recently launched its #NoLooseGuard campaign, which aims to promote insurance as a proactive tool for wealth protection and recovery.

In 2024, Leadway recorded ₦173.2 billion in insurance revenue and disbursed ₦117 billion in claims, further cementing its position as a leading player in Nigeria’s financial services sector.
