FRSC Launches Redesigned Website to Enhance Road Safety Services
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has officially unveiled a redesigned version of its website as part of a broader initiative to modernise its operations and provide a better online experience for Nigerians and road users worldwide.
The announcement was made in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja by the Corps Public Education Officer, Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM) Olusegun Ogungbemide.
According to Ogungbemide, the revamped platform is a strategic move to embrace evolving digital trends while ensuring quicker, more secure, and more reliable access to vital road safety information.
“With its sleek interface and modern design, the website now offers faster load times, enhanced security, and seamless access to credible and timely information,” Ogungbemide stated. “The new look speaks volumes of a highly modernised, user-friendly, and informative digital platform tailored to meet the evolving needs of Nigerians and all road users.”
Accessible via www.frsc.gov.ng, the upgraded website serves as a one-stop hub for road safety administration, traffic regulation services, and public resources.
A Commitment to Digital Innovation
FRSC Corps Marshal, Malam Shehu Mohammed, highlighted that the redesign underscores the Corps’ commitment to innovation and public engagement.
“This newly redesigned website reflects our mission to save lives, enhance road safety awareness, and deliver world-class public service,” he said.
Mohammed encouraged individuals and organisations across the public and private sectors—including NGOs and civil society groups—to leverage the platform for quick and stress-free access to road safety tools and services.
“Information is logically structured to enable seamless access to services and resources,” he explained. “Designed to educate, engage, and even entertain, the new website offers intuitive, visually appealing layouts aimed at improving awareness and compliance with road safety regulations.”
He invited motorists, pedestrians, researchers, and media professionals to explore the platform and utilise its features to promote safer roads.
Recognition for Digital Excellence
Ogungbemide also recalled that in 2023, the FRSC website was ranked the best among 315 Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in Nigeria. The recognition was awarded during the fifth edition of the Federal Government’s website ranking exercise conducted by the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) in partnership with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).
With the launch of the new platform, the FRSC aims to build on that achievement and further strengthen its role as a leading authority on road safety administration in Nigeria.
